I am writing this letter in support of Noel Bishop for first selectmen and John Hall for Board of Selectmen. As a lifelong resident of Westbrook who has been active in our community for more than 41 years, including service on the Board of Selectmen, our town's Emergency Services, and currently Board of Finance, I wish to give my endorsement to re-elect these outstanding servants of our community.

Having worked with many town officials over the years, I feel that these two individuals are well qualified and dedicated to our community. Noel was extremely helpful and spent countless hours day and night during Tropical Storm Irene and Superstorm Sandy assisting our emergency services. Noel and John are very open and willing to listen to any concerns brought to them by myself and others. They have been very successful in keeping our taxes down with two years of no increase during their administration. They have promoted the new train station, Public Works garage, downtown parking project, and marina dredging, all utilizing state and federal funds.

Our town has certainly improved during their administration.
