In the late 1960s, my next-door neighbor taught the NRA gun safety course. He had a bumper sticker reading: “With Gun Laws Only Outlaws Will Have Guns!” In light of the terrorist shootings in Paris, France and San Bernardino, Calif., I would have to say that the statement still applies. 

The real problem -- although this newspaper, like most of the media, will not admit it -- is the president. He is an incompetent and should resign. He has failed to protect the United States citizenry from attacks by terrorists here at home and abroad at our embassies. He has tied the hands of law enforcement at every level and in the Department of Defense. He has appointed incompetent people to virtually every position in the federal government.

This nation has been on a downhill rollercoaster ride to oblivion for the past seven years since this man has been in office. Now it is time for the masses of people in these United States to demand his resignation, before there is nothing left. It is time to purge the troublemakers, and we know who they are, from our nation and appoint an interim government body, representing us, that will execute such a directive.
