Needleman the clear choice in 33rd District

The best reason I can think of to persuade voters of the 33rd Senatorial District to vote for Norm Needleman is that the wise voters of Essex, having experienced his amazing ability to govern, elected him to four terms as first selectman. He has maintained balanced budgets, delivered effective town services and kept tax rates among the lowest in the state.

The Day has advocated cooperative bipartisan state government — another reason to vote for Norm. A Democrat, his approach to government is not limited by narrowly focused political ideology. He has achieved significant goals by allying himself with others who have the same interests, regardless of political party. This bipartisanship has made him successful in government.

Proof of his appeal to Republicans came when he previously ran for the Senate. Lyme’s admired former First Selectman Ralph Eno, a Republican, supported Norm, noting, “Norm has the chief elected official experience at the town level that is crucial to being an effective representative… His work in the public sector paired with his experience as a tried and true business person gives him a leg up to make sure we have the best possible representation given our state’s budget problems.”

Norm is also the successful CEO of Tower Laboratories, a company he founded 39 years ago. Vote for Norm Needleman.
