3 weeks and new administration can't come soon enough

For the last four years the American public has been repeatedly told by our president that he is the best and his plans are perfect. In reality, we have all been flying on autopilot − naked and dangerously exposed to both domestic and international threats.

The absence of any coordinated COVID-19 pandemic plan is wreaking havoc for a second time around. After months of ridiculing mask wearing, social distancing, and hand washing, President Trump and Vice President Pence have vanished from public view, while ICUs fill to capacity, patients line up outside ER doors, and trucks with body bags station themselves in hospital parking lots.

Pfizer currently reports they have millions of doses of vaccine stockpiled in warehouses without federal direction — another plan advertised by the administration as beyond impeccable.

And now we have cyber-attacks targeting both government and private entities across the nation, most likely orchestrated by Trump’s best bud, Vladimir Putin, and Russia. The White House has again remained mum. After deriding and dismantling the U.S. intelligence services, these perilous attacks on American security are not surprising.

Exactly where is the Wizard of Oz? Probably on the back nine, still disputing the election and pursuing lawsuits with other people’s money.

Luckily, the current administration has only three more weeks. The new executive branch cannot come soon enough.
