I notice that the Town of Groton, to whom I pay my taxes, offers free charging stations at the Town Hall, its annex, the Public Library, and possibly other locations. I am all for EV (electric vehicles), but why should I pay for the electricity to charge somebody else's car? Often there are vehicles parked overnight while the facilities are closed, consuming my tax dollars. When do I get my free gasoline while I am waiting for enough money to purchase one of these modern EV vehicles?
