Go slow with wind and solar
Your editorials and news articles emphasize the severity of “climate change” and the necessity for bold prompt action to minimize it. It is my belief that the forced change to wind and solar power is unwise, unneeded, and undoable. In evidence I offer the European power shortage and California’s threatened rolling blackouts. To all who champion the current policy of shutting down domestic gas and petroleum production I beg you to read “Unsettled” by Koonin (a climatologist who believes climate change is occurring and who served as climate adviser in the Obama administration) to acquire understanding of the problem, limitations of the computer models, and the futility of the current efforts.
