Breadsticks and mushy broccoli not worth the price

I am writing to express thoughts on school lunches in Waterford schools. For the first two months of school, we do not have to pay for our lunch, due to government supplemental funds. In November, my parents will have to start paying for my lunch at school. My parents and I do not have a problem with paying for my food, but I feel the amount of food you get for the price is often not fair. For example, when the meal is breadsticks with marinara, we get two small sticks with mushy broccoli that is not very edible. I do not feel this is enough food for a growing boy who has not eaten breakfast since 6:30 a.m. The school lunch cost $3.50 per meal and I sometimes get two because they are small, the second cost $3.50. Starting next month this will cost my family $7.00 per day.

This all adds up for my parents that have two boys that eat school lunches. I feel the choices, quality, and quantity, of the lunches should be reviewed by the students.
