What we can expect from a Republican House

On Jan. 3, 2023, the Republicans will have the majority in the House of Representatives. The last time they had a majority, no bills were introduced to assist the elderly, medical care, children, gun control, voting, etc. When in the minority, they all voted against every bill the Democrats introduced (e.g., COVID, medical costs, healthcare, gun control, same sex marriages, Jan. 6 attack committee, voting rights, etc.).

As a Republican (Lincoln Project), I do not foresee any bill introduced that will help the majority of our citizens. In fact, I believe they will pass bills to reduce or change our support for Ukraine, change or reduce social security, shut down the government, make changes to immigration, support Trump in taking classified sensitive documents to his residence, and of course Hunter Biden.

We the taxpayers will be paying for these bizarre investigations. Anyone called to these investigations, can plead the fifth as my fellow Republicans did on several investigations. Then, if convicted, they could be pardoned as Trump did for Stone, Flynn, and Bannon.

No big changes are coming to help/assist the majority of our population.
