In response to the column by Mike DiMauro, “Judicial neglect imperils women’s sports movement in CT,” (Jan. 11), all of those columns end with the same caveat, “This is the opinion of Day sports columnist Mike DiMauro.”

Now we need to hear from the people on the other side of this debate. The ones whose opinion we need to hear, and to which we need to listen. You know, the transgender athletes, their teammates, their coaches, their family members. The Day needs to publish those guest opinion columns. It is only fair.
