    Vote ‘yes’ in Norwich

In Norwich on Feb. 1, fatigued voters will be forced to the polls for a fire service vote that no one wanted but a few questionable coerced petitioners. I mean no offense to volunteers when I write this for our country was built on these unsung heroes. But if I want to know about the military I will ask a general in the military not the head of the National Guard. If I have a question about the police I will ask a police chief not the head of the neighborhood watch. And if I want wisdom regarding Norwich’s fire safety I will ask our real paid fire chief.

Vote yes to support our family’s safety as recommended by our paid firefighters. As for our volunteer fire chief’s fragile egos: get over it. How much of residents volunteer fire donations (including mine) were wasted for this useless vote? How much is this vote costing Norwich taxpayers? One thing is clear to me I will never donate to our volunteer firefighters again for it may go to some useless campaign and not real fire safety. Vote Yes Feb. 1. Trust the experts not the crybabies.
