What are The Day’s standards for columns
I rarely read Chris Powell’s opinion pieces that appear far too often in The Day. I did read, “Rent limits would only worsen housing shortage,” (Jan. 24), but I do not know why I did so, except perhaps to remind me of Socrates writing about sophists and their rhetorical techniques. But Powell does make me wonder if The Day has ethical and factual standards for opinion pieces or is lying permitted.
