    Rounding out your perspective

In the letter to the editor, appearing in the Thursday, Aug. 3 edition of The Day, the writer suggests a trip to Hiroshima to gain some "profound perspective" on this anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan. Now, that's a great idea, take a trip to Japan if you can afford it, visit the “Genbaku Dome” at ground zero in Hiroshima, and gain some “profound perspective.” Then, maybe on the way home, you can stop at the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, and next, take a side trip to the Peace Memorial Park in Okinawa - just to round out your “perspective” a little.
