East Lyme’s success is no accident

East Lyme’s success is no accident. It starts with electing the right people to serve. The makeup of this year’s Republican slate represents a talented and balanced ticket that will continue to serve us well. Anne Santoro, the Deputy First Selectman, served many years on the Board of Finance and the last two years on the Board of Selectman (BOS).

As she has shown in the past, Anne will work tirelessly to get things right and make wise decisions as First Selectman. For the BOS, Rose Ann Hardy, whom I served with for seven years, is an asset to the BOS and brings a vast amount of experience to the table. Candice Carlson, who has served 11 years on the Board of Education is one of the hardest-working elected officials that I know. She is someone who has the pulse on the community and works collaboratively to get things done. Don MacKenzie is no stranger to public service as he serves on the Harbor Commission and coached high school basketball for over 25 years.

Please consider voting for these candidates as they will continue the bring the steady leadership East Lyme has come to expect.
