It’s municipal election time. Don’t listen to all the speeches people are giving you at your door. Don’t listen to the letters to the editor in the paper. Get on the town website or YouTube and look up some Town Council meetings or RTM meetings. That’s where you will see what is really being done. Watch to see who does their homework and really cares about all the residents. There are a select number of people who talk loudly, but what are they really getting accomplished? Don’t mistake loudness for helping the community. Dig deep into your research and you will see nothing is getting accomplished with these select few. I watch every town council meeting and I am currently finishing up my sixth year on the RTM. Please do your homework before Nov. 7. Exercise your right to vote for the person, not the party.
