As a resident of East Lyme, I am deeply moved by the profound impact of State Sen. Martha Marx's outstanding work during her first term in office. Her dedication to serving our community and advocating for the needs of our constituents has been nothing short of remarkable.

Throughout her tenure, Sen. Marx has been a dedicated advocate for health care workers, veterans, our environment, our schools and home energy assistance. She deeply cares about each of the 20th state Senate District communities. Her tireless efforts have positively impacted the lives of many individuals and families in our district. Sen. Marx's leadership, integrity and dedication to public service are truly commendable. She has shown herself to be a principled leader who listens to her constituents, works collaboratively with colleagues and effectively addresses our community's challenges.
