    Chaplin - Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection seasonal hatchery employee Daniel Sneed launched a net full of trout into the Natchaug River in Chaplin Tuesday in preparation for Saturday's first day of fishing season.

    Four trucks from the DEP's Quinnebaug hatchery stocked around 7,000 brown, brook and rainbow trout Tuesday morning along the Natchaug.
