DEM CANDIDATES TO MEET, GREET

Old Saybrook - The Shoreline League of Democratic Women will host a "Meet the Candidates" meeting featuring Democratic gubernatorial hopefuls from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Old Saybrook Democratic Headquarters in the Old Saybrook Shopping Center.

Attendees will have an opportunity to socialize and meet the gubernatorial hopefuls from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Hopefuls include Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz, Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy, state Sen. Gary LeBeau and Jim Amann, former speaker of the state House of Representatives.

At 7:30 p.m., these candidates will speak about their goals for the state.
