Beaver Brook Farm, Connecticut's largest sheep farm with an average of 480 sheep, processes more than 4,000 pounds of wool a year that is spun into yarn or made into other products and sold in the farm's shop or at local farmers markets. Nearly 1,000 people attended the farm day that included sheep-shearing demonstrations, a wool-spinning exhibition, and horse-drawn wagon rides on Saturday and Sunday.
