5th annual Jack Stefanski golf tournament seeks golfers for fundraiser
The 5th Annual Jack Stefanski Open Golf Tournament is seeking players for the July 22 fundraiser at the New London Country Club in Waterford.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cove Center for Grieving Children’s Stonington site, the Jack Stefanski Athletic Scholarship Fund and the Stefanski Children Scholarship. Pre-registration information should be submitted by Friday, July 8.
Registration for the tournament will begin at noon. Lunch will also be served at that time. Play will start at 1:20 p.m. The event will also include a raffle, Par 3 shootout, skin game and prizes.
The entrance fee is $140 per player and includes a golf shirt, greens fees, cart use, lunch and dinner. Sponsorships ($200 for a hole sponsor; $150 for a business; $100 for an individual) and raffle donations are also welcome. Checks should be made payable to the Jack Stefanski Open and sent to: 415 Wheeler Road, Stonington CT 06378.
