Clinton police today (Aug. 22) arrested a woman on charges related to the alleged sex assault that took place between her 19 year-old daughter and the 14 year-old boy her daughter was babysitting.

Kimmy Bouchard, 45, of 133 West Main St., Apt.C2, was arrested for sale of marijuana, permitting a minor to possess alcohol and two counts of risk of injury to a minor on a warrant issued by The Middletown Superior Court Aug. 9.

The arrest follows three month investigation and subsequent arrest on July 12 of Bouchard's 19-year-old daughter, Loni Bouchard, 19, for alleged sexual assault in the second degree for having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old boy she was hired to babysit.

During the investigation, it was determined that Kimmy Bouchard supplied her daughter and the boy with alcohol and marijuana at her residence while she was present.

Kimmy Bouchard was held on $25,000 court set bond and transported to Middletown Superior court.

She was arraigned in Middletown Superior court today.
