    Stonington remembers 9/11

Participants honored the victims of 9/11, local current first responders, and the military. Josh Piver, a 1996 graduate of Stonington High School who died in the World Trade Center attacks, was remembered. It was announced that more than $5,000 was recently raised for the Josh Piver Scholarship Fund and additional money was collected Sunday evening. Three trees were dedicated and will be planted in front of the high school.
