“People helping people” was the message of the benefit show held Oct. 15 at East Haven High School to raise funds for families affected by Tropical Storm Irene.

Organized by Shawn Hopkinson and Phylicia Slocum, the concert featured female and male vocalists, comedians, bands, D.J.s, hip-hop performers, and dancers.
