Dining at The Wharf

Madison resident Paul Serra, foreground, and Gregg and Kim Gyenizs, also of Madison, were among the May 2 diners enjoying the first lunch wave at the Madison Beach Hotel’s Wharf Restaurant and bar. The hotel opened for dinner on May 1 and will have its first hotel guests this weekend.

The hotel, which replaces the popular but timeworn institution at West Wharf, has 33 guest rooms and suites, all with oceanfront views and most with fireplaces and balconies. The 130-seat Wharf Restaurant and Bar is joined by the upstairs formal dining room and ballroom Tides on the Sound.
