Police: boy in dirt bike crash appeared to have non life-threatening injuries

Stonington – Police said today that a 13-year-old local boy who was transported to a Rhode Island hospital by Life Star helicopter after he was injured in an off-road dirt bike crash Monday night, appeared at the scene to have sustained non life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. on private property on North Anguilla Road when the boy lost control of the dirt bike. Police have declined to release the boy’s identity.
