Stonington — The town has received federal funding to pave and make improvements to approximately 1,300 feet of Taugwonk Road in the area of the Exit 91 interchange with Interstate 95.

The work, which will begin soon and be complete by summer, calls for replacing guide rails, improving drainage, replacing the pavement along the shoulders and milling and repaving the road width from where the state ceased work a few years ago to just north of the southbound off ramp.
