Waterford to open farmers market

Waterford — The town’s farmers market will open this Saturday at the Town Hall and will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

The market will offer fresh produce and fruit, flowers and a number of other items. Fog Plain Gardens, Hunts Brook Farm, Lemke Valley Farms, Perennial Harmony, Smith Acres and Valchris Organic Farm are among those who plan to attend, according to organizers.
