Norwich — Crews have restored power to most affected by an outage caused by a tree that fell on a power line in the southwest part of the city.
About 63 customers remain without power, according to Norwich Public Utilities spokesman Mike Hughes. Those without power can expect restoration by about 2 a.m. Friday, he said.
The original outage, centered around the West Main Street area near the Thames River, affected approximately 1,500 customers, Hughes said.
