Immigrants take citizenship oath aboard Coast Guard Eagle

Candidates for U.S. citizenship salute the flag during the singing of the National Anthem as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services hosts a naturalization ceremony aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle in New London Friday Sept. 7, 2012. Sixteen new citizens took the Oath of Allegiance representing Belarus, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Hungary, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Pakistan, Slovakia and the United Arab Emirates.
