Ministry holding post-Sandy gathering to offer thanks

New London - The Greater New London Religious Ministry is holding a public gathering Monday to offer thanks following Hurricane Sandy.

The event will take place 6 p.m. Monday at the St. Sophia Community Center, 200 Hempstead St.

It will include prayer, song and reflection. Those attending are asked to bring a canned good and non-perishable food item.
