Pain specialist joins staff at spine care clinic
Westerly - Interventional pain specialist Dr. Timothy Olson, a member of The Westerly Hospital medical staff, has joined Dr. Adrian Hamburger at the New England Spine Care clinic at The Westerly Hospital.
Dr. Olson is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital. He will be seeing patients at the clinic at Westerly Hospital and at the clinic’s new satellite facility at 481 Kingstown Road, Wakefield, R.I.
Ninety-five percent of back and neck pain conditions can be treated without surgery. Drs. Olson and Hamburger focus on appropriately diagnosing, treating and coordinating multi-disciplinary care for patients with acute and chronic spinal conditions – including stenosis, disc herniations, degenerative changes and spinal arthritis.
A physician referral is required for evaluation and treatment and all major insurances are accepted.
