Salem to hold tree lighting

Salem — Residents are invited to take part in an annual tree lighting on Saturday at the Town Green.

The lighting will start at 4 p.m. The event will also include a carol sing-a-long, a visit from Santa Claus, hot chocolate and other goodies. People are also encouraged to bring a bird-friendly, biodegradable ornament to help decorate the tree.
