Branford's new Firearms Sales Ad Hoc Committee holds the first of two public hearings tonight, Thurs. March 14 at 7 p.m.

A second hearing is set for Sat. March 16. Both hearings are to gather citizens’ input on creating an ordinance restricting gun and ammunition sales in certain areas of Branford.

The hearings are Thurs. March. 14, 7 p.m. and Sat. March 16, 10 a.m.; at Branford Fire Headquarters, 45 North Main St.
