Road work will disrupt traffic on I-95

Groton — Safety improvements and bridge repairs in the areas between Exit 85 and Exit 89 on Interstate 95 in both directions are expected to impact the left travel lane and shoulder lanes until June, the state Department of Transportation has announced.
According to the DOT, road improvements began March 1 and are expected to end on June 1.
Motorists should expect long-term travel lane and shoulder closures as well as other temporary lane shifts and/or closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
