Local psychiatrist retires

Dr. Mehadin Arafeh announced this week that he has retired from his part-time psychiatry practice with Connecticut Behavioral Health Associates of New London and Norwich.

Arafeh began his career in Connecticut in 1959. In addition to practicing clinical psychiatry, he also taught psychiatric education, worked as an advocate and was a psychiatric services administrator.
