On Mon. May 13, members of Branford Garden Club will once again plant beautiful blooms decorating 32 baskets in the town center.

The post-planters enhance Main Street each spring and summer, thanks to efforts of the club.

This is the 11th year the club has beautified Branford’s town center with the annual plantings, purchased from Van Wilgen’s Garden Center. Branford Garden Club is very grateful to the Branford Public Works Department for assisting in watering the baskets all season, along with members of the Garden Club. In addition, the work could not be done without the support of the Branford Merchants and individual sponsors who support the beautification of the town.
