North Haven dog owners have the month of June to purchase dog licenses and tags for their beloved pooches. The licenses can be purchased at the North Haven Town Clerk’s office from June 1 to June 30.  The fee is $8 for a spayed or neutered dog (with a certificate of proof) or $19 for dogs not spayed or neutered. A current rabies certificate must be presented when purchasing a new license and tag, according to the Town Clerk’s office.  Residents can purchase the licenses from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall, 18 Church Street or by mail (by providing the owner’s name, address, phone number, dog’s name, age, sex, color, breed, proof of rabies vaccination, and self addressed stamped envelope).
