North Stonington Democratic Town Committee endorses 11 candidates

North Stonington — The Democratic Town Committee endorsed 11 candidates Wednesday night for town offices in this fall's elections, though none for the position of first selectman.

Mark Donahue will run for Board of Selectmen, while Brent Woodward will run for the Board of Finance. Mike Urgo will run unaffiliated for the finance board.

Mustapha Ratib will run for town treasurer, Vilma Gregoropoulos will run for the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Anne Nelson will run for the position of Zoning Board of Appeals alternate. Julie Lanier, Bing Bartick and Ray Geer will run for the Economic Development Commission. Miguel DeJesus and Julia Buzzee will run for Board of Education.

Crystal Dane, a current member of the school board, was not renominated.
