New London — The Bulkeley Alumni Association, which held its annual meeting Friday at Ocean Beach Park, has awarded college scholarships of $3,600 each to 14 local students whose grandfathers attended the school.

The last class to graduate from the all-boys Bulkeley School was 62 years ago. The annual reunion was expected to attract about 120 alumni from as far away as California and Kansas.
