Access Health CT teams to hit beaches to explain health care reform
Representatives of Access Health CT, Connecticut’s official health insurance marketplace, will visit three state beaches over the next few weekends to provide information about how health care reform will impact residents and how they can enroll in a health insurance plan this October.
Outreach teams will hand out sunscreen and an aerial banner will be flown by plane over the beaches, both with the message, “Get Covered!”
On Saturday, August 10, the teams will be at Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme, Hammonassett State Park in Madison, and Silver Sands Beach in Milford. They will also visit the three beaches on Aug. 24 and 31 and Sept. 2.
