'Healthy Eating on a Budget' is focus of Backus event in Sprague

Sprague - The William W. Backus Hospital will host “Healthy Eating on a Budget” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sprague Community Center, 22 West Main St. The talk will be presented by Jennifer Fetterley, registered dietitian of Thames Valley Council for Community Action.

To register for this free event, call (860) 889-8331, extension 6381. Free food samples will be available.

This event is part of a long-term initiative aimed at improving community health by offering a schedule of health screenings, educational programs, primary care access and support services.
