New London – Dr. David Katz will give a talk, “Feet + Forks = Healthy Kids + Health Community” at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at The Garde Arts Center, with a health fair and reception before the event beginning at 6 p.m.

Katz is the author of “Stealth Health: How to Sneak Age-Defying, Disease-Fighting Habits Into Your Life Without Really Trying.”

The talk and health fair are recommended for parents, grandparents, students, teachers, counselors, social service agencies, coaches and religious groups, among others. It will be followed on Oct. 22 by an intergenerational workshop, “Food Forensics,” from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Crozier-Williams Center at Connecticut College.
