Office of Healthcare Access seeks feedback on Healthcare Innovation Plan
The state Office of Healthcare Access is seeking feedback on its draft Healthcare Innovation Plan under the State Innovation Model Initiative.
The initiative offers funding from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation to facilitate changes in healthcare delivery and payment models to achieve better health for residents, increase access to care and reduce healthcare costs. The state’s plan is based on the principles of consumer empowerment, community health improvement and primary care practice transformation, the Office of Healthcare Access said in a news release.
