Norwich to host its first St. Patrick's Day parade

Norwich – The city plans to host its first St. Patrick’s Day parade in 2014.
The Norwich Community Development Corp. announced Monday that parade organizers will hold a press conference at 4 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Harp & Dragon Irish Pub, 130 Main St., to announce details of the parade and the grand marshal.
Harp & Dragon co-owner Scott Capano and Miria Toth, NCDC office and marketing manager, and others have been meeting recently to plan the parade.
