Man arrested for having heroin in Norwich court

Norwich—State police arrested a New London man at the Norwich Superior Courthouse Wednesday after they found him to be in possession of heroin.
Jessie Ocasio, 34, of 42 Cutler St., was at the courthouse for an ongoing child support case, according to a state police press release.
Ocasio was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He is due to appear on the charges in Norwich Superior Court on April 24.
