Cub Scouts help in ‘building a better world’

Sen. Paul Formica (R-East Lyme), rear center left, met with East Lyme Cub Scout Pack 24 on Jan. 11.

The fourth- and fifth-graders invited Formica to their meeting to speak about “building a better world,” the theme for their meeting. He talked about leadership, government, and the impact that the scouts can have on their communities by being active citizens and helping others.
