Lyme resident Kylie Sevigny, a fifth-grader at Children’s Tree Montessori School in Old Saybrook, was one of three students from the school who participated in the Montessori Model United Nations Conference in Rome.
Sevigny and her classmates served as delegates from Senegal, researching the country’s government, population and culture, presenting to about 700 other students in attendance and debating global issues related to the country.
