Salem grand list remained flat in 2017
Salem — The town's tax base remained flat in 2017, ending the year at $370.8 million, according to calculations from assessor Barbara Perry.
Real estate values decreased by $1.2 million to $320.7 million, and motor vehicle values increased by about $900,000 to $35 million. Personal property values increased by $1.8 million to $15.1 million.
