High School debate set for Friday at Three Rivers Community College
Norwich — The semifinal and championship round of the Dr. Grace Sawyer Jones Parliamentary Style Debate for Area High Schools of Eastern Connecticut will be held Friday at Three Rivers Community College, 574 New London Turnpike.
The teams will debate the theme: “Resolved: The Federal Minimum Wage should be Adjusted Annually Based on the Cost of Living.”
Teams from Bacon Academy, Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut, New London High School, Norwich Free Academy, Plainfield High School and Three Rivers Middle College Magnet High School.
The semifinals are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., and the championships are scheduled for 6 p.m. at Three Rivers.
