Construction along Route 214 could cause traffic delays in Ledyard
Ledyard — Next week the Connecticut Department of Transportation will begin a construction project in town that could cause some traffic delays.
The project is intended to repair a twin pipe culvert under Route 214 just east of Spicer Hill Road, and work is scheduled to begin the morning of Monday, April 9, with traffic delays anticipated through Wednesday.
On Monday, drivers will be detoured from Route 117, Route 2A, Route 2 and return to Route 214 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
On April 10 and 11, construction is expected to occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., with traffic control personnel and signing patterns available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
