Reporter Lindsay Boyle and author Michelle Jacobik were honored Thursday at Bethsaida's 10th Annual Gala ​at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Officers' Club.

Jacobik, author of "Prosperity After Divorce," was the keynote speaker and was presented with the Bethsaida Community Impact Award. She was recognized for helping her clients recapture their independence and self-confidence when it comes to their finances.

Boyle, an award-winning reporter for The Day, was honored with the Carol Croteau Humanitarian Award. She was recognized for her outstanding ongoing coverage of the opioid epidemic.
